Honesty, Professionalism and Integrity

As a member of TVWP I comply with the standards below and I pledge myself to seek and maintain association with fellow TVWP members and others who may become a part of my business and professional life in an honorable and cooperative manner.

• Each member will accurately represent his/her qualifications and expertise in all advertising and communications.
• Each member will treat other wedding professionals with courtesy and dignity.
• Each member having personal integrity, agrees not to generate income in any way that could be construed as not in the best interest of the client, through kickbacks or commission.
• Each member takes ownership in TVWP through volunteering and sponsoring educational programs to increase professional growth and knowledge of the industry.
• Each member will agree to partner together and strive to serve our customers with honesty and integrity by honoring all agreements made with customers and service providers.
• Each member will provide services in those areas in which they are qualified to serve. When unable or unqualified to fulfill requests for services, the member will make every effort to recommend the services of a qualified TVWP member.
• Each member will not be party to agreements which unfairly limit or restrain access to the marketplace by any other wedding professional, client or to the public, based on race, creed, color, sex, age, physical disability or country of origin.
• Each member is required to observe all laws and obtain any license(s), insurance and certification required by law for their type of business.
